You know how there’s always one friend in the bar suggesting you do just one more shot before closing time? Tym Wojcik of garage-punk band Cup is that friend. Jitter Visions, is the name of Wojcik’s latest album, and it lands like an extra shot of ill-advised tequila that opens the mind to unexpected pleasures.
Since his tunes come from a place of reflection that also lifts sweat to the ceilings of small venues, we thought we’d send Timothy Wojcik a bunch of homework, and get some insight into his worldview – where the simplest gestures carry metaphysical truths, and where, ultimately, at the bottom of it all is love.
Cup is the project name of Tym Wojcik. The new album from Cup is called Hiccup and it’s about as good, abrasive and loud as you need from a garage punk.
